The ONLY Chocolate Chip Cookie

A perfect balance of chocolate and chewy all baked into one delicious bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick Butter cold
  • 1/2 C "White" Cane Sugar
  • 1/4 C Brown Cane Sugar
  • 1 Egg room temperature
  • 1 1/2 C Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp Fine Sea Salt
  • 3/4 C Chocolate Chips or Chunks use a variety of sizes for best results

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare cookie sheets by lining them with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Set aside.
  • Melt 1 stick of butter in a large glass mixing bowl in microwave for 40 seconds.
  • Add in sugars and beat together for about 45 seconds.
  • Add in 1 egg and beat for 15 seconds.
  • Add in flour, baking soda, and salt. Beat until just combined.
  • Stir in chocolate chips/chunks.
  • Scoop dough onto prepared cookie sheets using a standard-sized cookie scooper. Recipe makes 18-24 cookies.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes on 350 degrees or until golden brown.
