The days are getting shorter, and the nights are getting longer, darker, colder. The best remedy for a chilly night inside? A warm cup of rich, creamy cocoa!
As the winter draws closer, and we turn our thoughts to Christmas, and giving love to others during the holiday season, I am always on the lookout for ways to share yummy treats with my family and friends. Whether my children, hubby and I are looking for a simple way to add extra cozy to our movie nights, or we want to send a long-distance hug to our extended family, a cup of cocoa seems to be the perfect treat!
This simple, five-ingredient mix takes minutes to whip together, is shelf stable and makes a cute gift when packaged in a mason jar or fillable ornament. Be sure to include a simple gift tag or label with the very basic instructions: “Combine 1/4 cup mix with hot water or milk. Stir and enjoy!” (Click here for a printable tag! )
