Over the past few years, our family has drastically changed our eating habits. We went from a traditional “American” diet full of starches, red or white sauces, frozen veggies and pre-packaged meats, to a diet that is rich in fresh veggies, farm-fresh meats and dairy, and with minimal to no sugars added. (The no sugar is limited to a selected time frame a few times each year, and the rest of the time we eat sugar as necessary!)
